2009/2010 Schedule of Events

Please find below information regarding 2009/2010 planned events and activities for the Wildcat Wrestling club.  This list includes competition venues that the club plans to participate in as a group.  This list in no way includes all of the competition opportunities available.  Please see the club web site wbwildcatwrestling.com or wiwrestling.com for complete information regarding area tournaments.  For those of you that are new to youth wrestling, competition is completely voluntary.  The extent to which your child engages in competition is determined entirely by you and your child.

Wednesday, December 9, 2009 (6:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
West Bend West High School Cafeteria
Parent’s Meeting

On this day we will conduct a parent’s meeting in the West High School Cafeteria form 6:30 PM until 7:30 pm.  At this time we will share important information about the club and answer any questions you may have.  It is mandatory that at least one parent attend this meeting.

Holiday Break

Practice will be held during the holiday break on December 23, 28 and 30th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

Wildcats Weekend Road Trip

January 23 - Janaury 24, 2010

• This will be the annual Wildcat Weekend road trip.  We will wrestle at Waupaca on Saturday and Winneconne on Sunday.

State Tournament Competition

WWF Kids Folkstyle State - Madison

This tournament is open to all wrestlers who qualified at one of the regional tournaments. A block of rooms for this event have been reserved for Friday and Saturday night at:

For the State tournament, The Wildcats have a block of rooms reserved at the Sheraton Hotel in Madison.  A block of room is being held through Sunday, March 14, 2010.  Please make your reservations prior to this date.

The state tournament marks the end of the Wildcat Wrestling season.  If you have any questions regarding the above information, please do not hesitate to approach one of the coaches or any one on the leadership committee.

The West Bend Wildcat Youth Wrestling Club pratice at West Bend East High School every Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM starting Monday, December 7, 2009.

Please note, your child must be a registered member of the team and must have a current USA Wrestler Card to practice or participate in team tournaments.
